For fifty years Clyde Hart was regarded worldwide as the most successful 400m coach of all time. Through multiple olympics ESPN referred to Baylor University as "Quarter Mile U." However, Clyde Hart's greatest hour began back in 1957 as he was the 22-year-old rookie track coach and faculty-friend for the Little Rock Nine throughout all those brave young people experienced. Their friendships continued for sixty-eight years until Coach Hart was Blessed To Go Home in November 2025.
